Zero Carbon Britain
–from Aspiration into Action
Bristol Schumacher Conference 2010

10am to 5.30 Saturday 16th October

Council House, College Green, Bristol, BS1 5TR

The collective decisions we make in the next decade will shape the coming century; it is vital society understands all its available options. This years Schumacher Conference aims to bring together a wide range of experts to envision a truly sustainable future.

The pressing challenges of the 21st Century cannot be solved with a 20th Century mind-set; they require a smart, conscious and integrated approach. Once we join the dots and look for the bigger picture, we find a great many solutions to climate security are the same as solutions to energy and economic security. CAT’s new report ‘Zero Carbon Britain 2030’ shows a path by which this can be achieved; this event has been designed to open up the findings to a wider audience.

CAT’s Paul Allen will introduce key findings from the report. The three main speakers will then present various aspects of how we can enable the transition towards a zero carbon Britain…
