zerocarbonbritain is a radical new energy strategy which takes our nation to zero fossil fuel emissions within 20 years. Developed by CAT, the strategy is the culmination of over 30 years of research into renewable technology and energy efficiency.

zerocarbonbritain has already made positive steps towards shifting our government’s energy policy to focus on an emission-free future. We are now looking to foster working associations with organisations who share in our vision to drive Britain into a new, emission-free future. By sharing our knowledge, skills and expertise we can make this vision reality and ultimately prevent against the devastating impacts of runaway climate change.

zerocarbonbritain is an on-going research project to lead the movement towards an emission-free nation supported by scientific, economic and political expertise.

We have already conducted extensive research into a diverse mix of renewable energy solutions which support ecological construction, transportation, industry, ICT and agriculture. A large part of our mission is to build on this research and to make information about renewable energy accessible to all.

We welcome your suggestions, questions, support & analysis. We encourage input from all vocations including environmental scientists, academics, economists, architects, engineers and political philosophers, in order to build a large body of knowledge and make zerocarbonbritain increasingly robust, feasible and ultimately real.
